Porcelain
Porcelain is a combination of kaolin, feldspar and quartz. These raw materials are ground in a 2:1:1 ratio and then mixed to form a tough clay. After the soft clay is shaped in a mold into, for example, a plate or cup, it is baked in an oven at a temperature between 1250 and 1380°C. Porcelain is oven, magnetron and dishwasher safe and does not absorb acids, odors and colors.
