Porcelain
Porcelain is a combination of kaolin, feldspar and quartz. These raw materials are ground in a ratio of 2:1:1 and then mixed to form a tough clay. After the soft clay is formed in a mold into, for example, a plate or a cup, it is baked in an oven at a temperature between 1250 to 1380°C. Porcelain is oven, magnetron and dishwasher safe and does not absorb acids, odors and colors.
