Ingredients
- 2-3 bars of (melt) chocolate: dark, milk or mixed
- Chocolate spiced nuts
- Foam
- Speculoos
- Tums
- Mini marshmallows
You can adjust the quantities and ingredients entirely to your own taste.

- Mixing bowl
- Heat-resistant container to melt chocolate in
- Spoon or spatula
- Baking paper
- Oven dish
- Serving dish or plate
Preparation
- Break the chocolate bars into pieces and melt e au bain-marie or in the magnetron (in short 30-second intervals, stirring well in between).
- Line a baking dish with baking paper.
- Pour the melted chocolate into the bowl and spread evenly over the bottom with a spatula.
- Spread the spiced nuts, speculaas pieces, meringues, mini marshmallos and tumtums over the still-soft chocolate. Press them lightly so they stick well but are still visible on top.
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator and let set for about an hour or at least until the chocolate has fully hardened.
- Remove the Rocky Road from the dish, remove the baking paper and break or cut into coarse pieces.

Serve
This Sinterklaas Rocky Road is a colorful showstopper on any holiday table. Serve the blocks with a cup of hot chocolate, place them on a bowl full of gingerbread cookies or wrap them in small bags as a treat for gift night.
