Festive chocolate milk with whipped cream and marshmallows

This chocolate milk has everything you want. Melted chocolate forms a full base that you complement with whipped cream mini marshmallows and a touch of cinnamon for extra character. You put it on the table in minutes making this recipe ideal for any time you want to make something quick.

Ingredients

For 2 mugs:

  • 500 ml whole milk
  • 100 gr dark or milk chocolate in pieces
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp sugar to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder for decoration
  • Silver sugar pearls or sprinkles

Preparation

  • Heat the milk in a saucepan over low heat without boiling.
  • Add the chocolate pieces and stir until completely melted.
  • Briefly beat the warm milk with a whisk for a fluffy texture.
  • Stir the cocoa powder the sugar and vanilla extract into the chocolate milk.

After mixing, pour the chocolate milk into the mugs so the heat stays good. Once the whipped cream is on top, you can add the mini marshmallows, sugar pearls and the pinch of cinnamon. The mix of soft cream, sweet marshmallows and the light spice gives each mug a rich look. Place the mugs directly on the table so that the whipped cream remains firm and the toppings stand out.
